XeXLoader 나 홈브류 프로그램을 가동하려면 조건이 있습니다.

삼돌이 대쉬보드 버전이 7371 까지만 가능합니다. (나는 8498 ㅠㅠ)
그보다 높은 대쉬보드 버전은 패치 때문에 현재는 불가능합니다.

Cygnus v2 칩이 필수인가? 이건 무슨 칩인가??

필수는 아닙니다. XBReboot 대쉬이미지 경우에는 필요가 없습니다. FreeBoot 의 경우에는 빌드시에 8955 커널이 필요하기 때문에 거의? 필수입니다.
Cygnus v2 는 낸드메모리가 내장된칩인데.. 이것으로 듀얼낸드로 사용할수 있습니다. 외국 포럼을 보면 자작해서 만드는 유저들도 있습니다.

그럼 필요한것은?

7371 대쉬보드유저나 이전버전을 갖고 있다면 한번 시도해볼만한.. 난이도는 쉽습니다.
납땜부분만 잘하면 될것 같아요. 이미 개인유저들도 하드인스톨 복구 때문에 많이 하셨엇고..

XBReboot 에서 CPU-KEY 알아내려면 삼돌이 후면 USB 포트에 패드를 유선으로 연결하고
가이드버튼을 눌러 삼돌이 전원을 키면 FREE60 파란화면이 나오면서 XELL 로딩이 됩니다.
그 화면에서 CPU-KEY가 적혀있습니다. 그것을 따로 메모해두면 됩니다. 리눅스 로딩도 되구요.

the JTAG hack is a way to run homebrew code on an Xbox 360. Exploiting this hack makes it possible to boot a Linux kernel in about five seconds. We’ve long been fans of the homebrew work done with XBMC on the original Xbox and hope that advances like this will lead to that end. We want this because the older hardware cannot handle high definition content at full resolution but the Xbox 360 certainly can.

freeBOOT

There has been another development in the never-ending battle that is Microsoft trying to keep its gaming system closed to unauthorized use. Xbox-scene reports that a new hack called freeBOOT v0.01 allows the Xbox 360 to upgrade to the newer kernels, but allows the option of rebooting to an older kernel in order use the JTAG exploit and gain access to the hardware.

This exploit is still far from perfect. It currently requires that the Cygnos360 mod chip be installed on the system. A resistor also needs to be removed from the board to prevent accidental kernel updating. That being said, this is still progress. XBReboot

XBReboot is an image you can flash on your onboard NAND that will allow you to ‘reboot’ a JTAG-exploitable 360 in a patched 8955 kernel which makes homebrew XDK possible (unsigned XEXs etc).
XBReboot v0.05! Like freeBOOT v0.02 it will reboot into a patched 8955 kernel. However, this one can be flashed directly in your onboard NAND flash, no need for an expensive 2-nand solution!! Before flashing it on your system, you will have to dump your console specific KeyVault (kv.bin) from your dumped Xbox 360 NAND image and put it inside the hacked image with nandpro:
